Bio

I’m Bradley Miller – an MD/MBA in the life science, healthcare and tech start-up spaces.  I’ve always been fascinated by the world of tech and entrepreneurship (I still have an ancient Business Week with the likes of Noyce, Doerr, Andreesen (with hair) and Groves on the cover from my dad’s subscription from when I was a kid).  I was drawn to medicine because of my love of bio, the sciences and a chance to work with people.  But, I found myself in healthcare and clinical work missing tech, hard bio and genomics/informatics in my daily mix. So, I figured it was high time to get back in to the scrum and am currently looking for my next biotech/life science start-up to help co-found or join the early team! Drop me a line!

Professionally, I’ve published research in Health Affairs (the healthcare policy journal) on the economics, business and policy of health information exchange.  I also co-founded a wireless consumer healthcare company that, while we ultimately didn’t fully launch publicly, was a plethora of experience from snagging meetings with over 30 VCs to recruiting technical help and clinical partners.   Those work experiences lead to the successful consulting I’ve enjoyed with my own consulting effort - Square6 Group, where I’ve had the opportunity to work for great clients like Microsoft, Mercer Health, CalPERS, Kaiser Permanente and I have also advised a handful of young tech, bio and biotech start-ups.  I’m always interested in new business inquiries in the life science, bio, healthcare IT, tech and informatics spaces.
